PARIS......VANESSA, VALENTINO, KENZO, SONIA AND ANN......

There was a lot of inspiration coming out of the Paris runway shows.......these are my favorites so far.....Vanessa Bruno!! LOVE!!! as usual.....totally wearable, she is a master of layering color, fabric and texture within each outfit.....thigh high socks over silky shorts, chunky hand knit scarves, belted waists & super cute lace up boots with fur trim!............Valentino....super lux! I'm obsessed with architectural ruffles especially in unexpected fabrics...leather and twill...and then of course the over the top fanciness.....ruffled dresses in layers of chiffon & lace that floated down the runway.....next up Kenzo....even though I'm not the biggest fan of 70's dressing....I do love the beautiful florals against the menswear inspired coats......worn with sherpa lined ankle boots & a fur scarf.......ya never know.....Sonia Rykeil was another favorite....the show was a little silly and a bit costumey, but I loved the military inspired jackets and slouchy skinny pants........cute tops and dresses that were influenced by the 20's....I even liked the white tights....young & fun!....last but, not least....and totally on a different page....was Ann Demeulemeester's dark and elegantly tailored collection...coats that draped at the neck, even in fur......jackets lined with iridescent coq feathers that framed the face, bright flashes of red, braided leather neck pieces & skin tight bottoms......if you new me from the 80/90's you'd know that I do love the goth look........club L.A.! ha!.......
