I don't know what rock I've been hiding under, but I can't believe this is the first time I'm seeing these paper sculptures from Su Blackwell. Absolutely Gorgeous!! How much would I love to have one of these in my house...........
Already getting excited to check out some fancy dresses for New Years....Loving anything with sparkle, shine & lace!! All of these dresses will do the trick....of couse I never like the affordable one's......Valentino, McQueen.....
These pickles from Rick's Picks have the most genius names!! I want to buy them to put them on my kitchen counter just for laughs. Everything is hand-picked from local, organic farms and made in season. He's a member of Greenmarket and sells his pickles at many of NYC farmer's markets. You can order on-line as well. I'm sure someone you know would love to get these in the mail!
These silly "Pulcini" glass birds by Alessandro Pianon from the 1960's are amazing!! I want!! I want!! When I look at them they make me smile!!! Too bad you can only purchase them at auction.....:(
If you live in NYC you probably don't have a deck, a yard or even a plant... and the last time you saw grass or anything green was on T.V......I just came across this mini terrarium from HPotter (no I don't think they are in anyway related to Harry Potter) and fell in love!!! This mini greenhouse is perfect for a table top or window sill...you can have flowers, trees and green all year round. This is also on my wish list....
and no it's not because he's Armenian, Francis Kurkdjian makes amazing scents uber cool. Scented bubbles release a subtle fragrance when blown and come in pear, herb and mint. What a fun way to perfume! He also makes perfumed burning papers designed to be ignited in a dish, they burn out in seconds leaving behind the scent of rose, white flowers or orange blossoms.
