I'm in LOVE with Guerlain's new Ecrin 6 color eyeshadow palettes......The compact was inspired by a 20's cigarette case which has an intricate filigree cutout design on the cover.....inside there's a foldout mirror and 5 fabulous tonal shades that will last you more than one season.......plus one novelty color just in case you find yourself in the mood for some fun!..........they come in 5 different shade palettes that are named after streets in Paris.......Rue des francs-bourgeois, champs-elysees, rue de passy and rue de sevres........I'm not usually into eyeshadow compacts.....but this one I just had to have......see you out on the town looking for some fun!.......
I've been looking for a weekender that already looks like it's been around the world and back without actually having to go......this safari inspired bag from Ralph is definitely it......it's body is weathered canvas and trimmed up antiqued leather.....kind of reminds me of one of those vintage mail totes that you can only buy in Japan or at Melet........I even love the little metal trinkets......so let's get packing....I've got places to go........
OK, but I do miss the pretty illustrations....so cute & inspiring!! I've probably forgotten how to draw....not that mine were ever this cute especially after staying up for 72 hours pumping out hundreds of them......Valentino's skinny little lady is a love.....& brings me back to when I thought fashion was all pixie hearts & sawdust stars........those were the days......
LaGarconne gives us so much to think about as we lay on the beach this Summer......& ponder....what oh what to buy for our Fall wardrobe?.......so many options........never enough $$.........I might just need to throw down for a few of these items.....Proenza Schouler waffle cropped pullover, Them Atelier shadow hi-rise jeans, Preen crescent sweater, Margiela Line 11 sheepskin clutch, Acne lana cardigan, See by Chloe studded side pocket pant & Mulberry's oversized Alexa in nude......I'll let you figure out what is what........You've still got time.........

Gorgeous editorial from this months Italian Elle magazine.....................reminds me of Summer in the Hamptons....... ......amazing farmer's markets, strawberry picking, hunting for vintage, strolling along tree-lined streets, drinking wine on the patio with great friends at the vineyard, pretty dresses & fields of beautiful flowers to take home........oh and grass.....acres of it.......where I kick off my shoes and wander for the afternoon.........
